Connecting to Jesus
We spend a lifetime by connecting though different means; phones, web, text mailing, our job, family, outdoors, TV, drugs, alcohol and even connecting to a church. However good or bad these things may be, there is one connection TRULY needed.
SALVATION
The first question many ask is “what do I need to be saved from”? The bible says in (Romans 3:23 – all people are sinners), and (Romans 6:23 says – sin earns death, but God wants to give us eternal life in Christ).
Eternal life is not free so how much will it cost me? Not one penny. (Romans 5:8 – Christ died to save us). God loved you so much that he let his son died on an old rugged cross. His blood covers all our sins. In addition, Jesus will remember our sins no more.
However according to the bible (Romans 10:9 – A person must believe in Christ and confess Christ as Savior). (The gift of salvation is claimed through prayer –
Will you pray with me, Dear father I am a sinner and need a Savior. Forgive me of my sins and wash me white as snow. Jesus come into my life and change me. Live in me forever. I love you Lord and thank you for saving me, Amen.
